Since 1969, Bill & Etta Post have taught their five children what it takes to raise healthy crops, strong animals and a loving family on this beautiful 80-acre farm.

We want to share the experience of being a small family farm with you!

Julie is the first born of Bill and Etta's 5 children. She was three years old when she moved to 5081 Bauer Rd., the future home of Post Family Farm. She graduated from Hudsonville Christian, Unity Christian, Calvin College, and Indiana University. During her freshman year, 1984 at Calvin College, the pig farm in Bauer hosted its first private event, hosting a Calvin's dorm hayride and bonfire. Upon graduation, she taught physical education, health; coached basketball and softball, and was an athletic director. By 1989, every campus dorm and apartment was visiting the farm for a hayride and bonfire, every fall. In 2000, after 10 years of working in Augusta, Georgia, Peoria, IL and Indianapolis, IN, she returned home to help out on the farm. By this time, Post Family Farm was in the beginning stage of becoming what it is today. She joined her sister, Annette, in managing fall school tours. Today, she manages school tours, handles accounts payable and payroll, helps out with weddings, and is the animal handler. She is married to Jeff Febus, a Grand Rapids Christian, Calvin College, and Drake University graduate. He is Calvin College's Sports Information Director. Jeff also assists at Post Family Farm, as a wedding reception DJ. Jeff and Julie have two boys, Jarrett and Justin, who attend Hudsonville Christian School.

Annette is the second child of Bill and Etta's 5 children. She was one year old when she moved to the 80-acre farm on Bauer Rd., with her parents and older sister. She graduated from Hudsonville Christian, Unity Christian, and attended Calvin College. After five years at Calvin College, she worked for Christian Coalition in Pittsburgh, PA, where she met her future husband. In 1992, she was married at the farm, the first farm wedding. The wedding site was a former pig pen. The grass was the greenest the farm had ever seen. After she was married, they continued to work in Pittsburgh. When Annette and her husband learned she was pregnant, they decided it was time to move to the Grand Rapids area closer, to family. In May 1997, she gave birth to Bill and Etta's first grandchild, a daughter, in Grand Rapids, MI. In order to be a stay at home mom, Annette decided to start fall school tours. The first Fall season of school tours took place with her daughter on her back. She made donuts in the farmhouse before the school groups arrived, then did the tours with the help of a neighbor. Also she is the one responsible for the development of the farm's wedding business. In 2012, Annette left Post Family Farm. She now works full-time at Church of the Servant Christian Reformed Church. She is the Director of Ministry and Faith Formation. During the farm's busy Fall season, she comes back to help the family out on Saturday Festivals. She is married to Jay Ediger, employed by Junior Achievement. A graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School and Wheaton College (IL), Jay also assists at Post Family Farm as a wedding reception DJ and pumpkin pricer. Jay and Annette have four daughters, Abigail, Annaka (both Hamilton High School students), Aarika and Allison (both home-schooled).

Cheryl is the third and final daughter of Bill and Etta Post, and their first child to be born on the farm. She graduated from Hudsonville Christian, Unity Christian, and Calvin College where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degree. Upon receiving her Bachelor's degree, she moved to Kentucky for an elementary teaching position. While in Kentucky, she continued to work on her Master's and also met her future husband. They were married at Post Family Farm in 1996. She and her husband continued to work in Kentucky until 1998, when they moved to the Hudsonville area. After teaching for a few years, the farm bug got her as well. She joined her sisters in managing the farm. Today she is the farm's Wedding and Events Coordinator, and handles Accounts Receivables. She is married to Michael Morales, a self-employed builder and a Kentucky native. Prior to relocating to Michigan, Michael studied at Northern Kentucky State Vocational Technical School. Michael also assists at Post Family Farm as a wedding reception DJ. In addition, he has helped build several of the additions at the farm over the years. An accomplished musician, Michael is an active member of the praise band at Fairway Christian Reformed Church. Michael and Cheryl have four daughters, Alyssa, Jessica, Victoria, and Julianna. All four daughters are home-schooled.

Brian is Bill and Etta's fourth child and first son. He graduated from Hudsonville Christian, Unity Christian, and Dordt College (with a Plant Science degree). He has worked in West Michigan since graduation, all the while, working on the farm when his full-time work schedule permitted. He, too, was married at Post Family Farm in 2000. In 2012, he started putting in more hours at Post Family Farm. Today, he works almost full time maintaining the lawn, fixing farm equipment, managing our pumpkin crop and building amazing fires for our evening events in the Fall. It may not sound like much, but we have a big lawn that needs to stay green for all the weddings the farm hosts and we have lots of tractors and wagons to maintain for all our Fall activities. He is married to Jamie, a Grand Valley State University graduate and a full-time nurse. They have four children, three girls and one boy. Katie, Becca (twins), Ben and Libby attend Zeeland Public Schools.

Brett is the youngest of the family. He graduated from Hudsonville Christian, Unity Christian, and Calvin College with an Engineering degree. He met his wife at Calvin College in 2002 and were married in Indonesia, as her family is from there. After graduating from Calvin College, he worked in the West Michigan area until his work position was transferred to the Greater Detroit area in 2010.  Although he was the only sibling not to be married at the farm, they did have a second reception at Post Family Farm. They now live north of Detroit. His Engineering skills are especially visible come the Fall season. He is the one who designed and built our Pumpkin Train, our double tube slide, original goat walk and many other projects. When his schedule permits, he will spend a weekend at the farm, fine tuning equipment and helping on farm projects. Mira graduated from Calvin College with a Business degree. She designed Post Family Farm's current website and many of its wedding and event ads, that can be found in several different publications (Great Deals Magazine, On the Town Magazine, and The Holland Sentinel). They have 3 children, Andrew, Arianna, and Naomi, who are home-schooled.
