Spring Tours

Each station lasts 15 minutes.  Only one class will be at any station at a time.

Station 1

Hayride Farm Tour

On their hayride, your group will be “bounced” around our 80-acre farm on a wagon bed covered with straw.  Our covered wagons have sides on them to help prevent any one from falling off and offer protection in case of rain.  The wagons will be pulled by a tractor driven by the tour guide.

Station 2

Pot Your Own Flowers

At our Greenhouse, all tour participants will be taught how to transplant a flower into their own Post Family Farm souvenir cup.  What a beautiful memento of their visit to our Farm!

Station 3

Visit with Farm Animals

Your group will have a chance to visit with ponies, chicks, goats, sheep, pigs, calves and our friendly farm kittens and cats. Students will be encouraged to pet the animals, even a pig, if the tour guide can catch one! Groups will be permitted to feed the sheep and goats, but not permitted in any of the pens with animals at any time. Hand washing facilities are available for your use before and after visiting the animals.

Station 4

Ride the "Train"

Take a spin on the 16 orange cars of the Post Family Farm Pumpkin Train!  The Train is pulled by a small tractor.

Before or after your tour, you and your students are invited to hike through our woods, feed the goats and sheep (feed dispensers take quarters) and  play in our outdoor children’s play area. You are welcome to have lunch ($5/class) under our Lean-to or by our outdoor picnic tables.
